Has the unibrow been sent to the great barbershop floor in the sky?

REPORT: 76ers star Joel Embiid could return from injury in two weeks

That's the way Pelicans star Anthony Davis made it seem, posting a video on Twitter showing him taking a razor to his trademark facial feature.

It should be noted that the phone on which Davis appears to be filming the act tumbles momentarily at the critical juncture. It should also be noted that said video was posted on the eve of April Fool's Day. Hmmmm.

However, the sentiment apparently is there for such a drastic personal grooming step. Davis posted a Twitter poll earlier in the week asking whether he should do the deed, and the  final tally  of 631,067 votes ran 51-49 in favor of a split.

"It's something I've been thinking about for a while and felt like I needed to change," Davis said in the video. "It's a big change; I think I like it, but y'all tell me. Big moment, new AD, new brow, let's get it."
