Oct. 2024 - Exum undergoes wrist surgery, misses three months
It was a horror start to the 2024-25 season for Exum; after suffering a wrist injury during training camp, the Aussie was forced to undergo surgery that will see him sidelined for three months.
This means that Dallas Mavericks fans won't get to see him suit up until 2025, as he and his team strive for a second straight finals appearance.
Jul. 2024 - Exum suffers finger dislocation at Olympics
Boomers fans faced a worrying few days at the 2024 Olympics, after Exum suffered a compound dislocation during one of Australia's warm-up games.
Stunningly, he only missed one game with the right finger injury, before returning for his team's clash with Canada.
Jan. 2024 - Knee and foot issues see Exum miss time
During the early months of 2024, Exum missed 22 games while dealing with a plantar fascia sprain in his right foot, as well as right knee bursitis.
Apr. 2023 - Body slam leaves Exum with ruptured toe tendon
Exum made headlines during his time in the Euroleague, after falling victim to a vicious body slam from Guerschon Yabusele during a fight between his Partizan Belgrade and opponents Real Madrid.
Feb. 2020 - Sprained ankle spoils Exum's debut Cleveland season
After being traded in December 2019, Exum was hoping for a fresh start with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
However, just 24 games into his tenure with the team, he suffered a left ankle sprain that saw him miss the remainder of that season.
Mar. 2019 - Exum misses playoffs with knee injury
After a dominant Utah Jazz season in 2018-19 that saw the team win 50 games, Exum was ruled out of their entire postseason run.
He suffered a partially torn patella tendon, just three games after returning from a previous injury.
Jan. 2019 - Ankle issue hampers Exum
Exum missed 25 games in early 2019, after suffering an ankle sprain and bone bruise.
Oct. 2017 - Shoulder surgery sidelines Exum indefinitely
The Australian guard was forced to miss significant time at the start of the 2017-18 season, after undergoing surgery to address a separated shoulder.
The injury came during the pre-season, when he landed awkwardly on the shoulder during a game against the Phoenix Suns, and resulted in him playing just 66 of his team's games.
Aug. 2015 - Exum misses sophomore season with ACL tear
After an impressive rookie NBA season, Exum was sidelined for his entire second year in the league, after he tore his ACL.
He suffered the injury during the off-season, playing for Australia against Slovenia in an international friendly.
