The Cleveland Cavaliers completed a series sweep of the Atlanta Hawks with a 118-88 win in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday, moving into the NBA Finals.
LeBron James top-scored with 23 points at the Quicken Loans Arena, while Tristan Thompson and J.R. Smith both had double-doubles as the Cavs reached the finals for the first time since 2007.
Smith (18 points and 10 rebounds) and Thompson (16 points and 11 rebounds) impressed as James also had nine rebounds and seven assists.
Kyrie Irving returned from his knee injury, playing almost 22 minutes and contributing 16 points.
It meant Matthew Dellavedova returned to the bench.
Dellavedova, the subject of criticism in recent days due to perceived dirty play, received a standing ovation when he checked into Game 4.
The Australian had 10 points in just over 16-and-a-half minutes on court.
For the Hawks, they became just the third number one seeds to be swept and first since 2003.
Paul Millsap had a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Jeff Teague finished with a team-high 17 points.
The Cavs will face either Golden State or the Houston Rockets in the NBA Finals starting June 4, with the Warriors leading that series 3-1.
Cleveland will be aiming to win their first ever championship.
