After his huge performance in Game 3 of the NBA Finals Christian Braun of the Denver Nuggets has set tongues wagging, but it's not just his play that's making noise, his peculiar surname has people talking too.

Is the Nuggets' wing's surname pronounced 'Brown' or 'Bron'? The controversy has spilled over amongst the commentary team on more than one occasion.

Braun played basketball for Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas before accepting an offer from the University of Kansas.

In three seasons with the Jayhawks Braun averaged 10.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists. 

With the Nuggets Braun has been a consistent weapon off the bench, even in big Playoff and Finals games, averaging 4.7 points and 2.4 rebounds on 49.5 percent from the field.
