An injured Chris Paul led the Los Angeles Clippers to a 111-109 win over the San Antonio Spurs in game seven of their NBA playoff series on Saturday.
Paul hurt his hamstring in the first quarter at the Staples Center, but he inspired the Clippers with 27 points and six assists.
Defending champions the Spurs are out after the 4-3 series loss, while the Clippers will take on the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference semi-finals.
While Paul starred and hit the game-winning shot with a second remaining, Blake Griffin was enormous with a triple-double of 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists.
Matt Barnes (17 points), Jamal Crawford (16) and JJ Redick (14) were also strong contributors.
Tim Duncan finished with a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds in what could be his final NBA game.
Tony Parker had 20 points, while Kawhi Leonard (13 points and 10 rebounds) was also good for the Spurs.
Barnes hit a three-pointer with just over two minutes remaining to level an enthralling contest at 105-105.
Parker and Crawford traded two-pointers before contentious foul calls on Paul and Duncan led to free-throws.
But Paul would be the hero with a second remaining as the Clippers advanced.
