The Bucks will be without starting point guard O.J. Mayo for the remainder of the season after he suffered a fractured ankle earlier this week, the team announced Thursday.
Mayo, who took over as the team's starting point guard when Michael Carter-Williams went down with a season-ending injury, broke his right ankle while accidentally tripping down the stairs at his home.

Surgery is a possibility for Mayo per Yahoo Sports. The 28-year-old is in the final season of his three-year contract he signed with Milwaukee in 2013.
Despite playing heavy minutes, Mayo is averaging just 7.8 points this season. However, his steals and assists numbers have improved from last season.
Jerryd Bayless will likely now start at point guard for the Bucks with Tyler Ennis logging additional minutes.
