Boris Diaw was just trying to get a few points for the Spurs at the buzzer. He failed in making the basket, but he succeeded is doinking his head coach with a basketball.
Diaw was shooting for his basket at the end of the second quarter against the Clippers on Saturday night when he overshot the hoop by a significant amount.

Meanwhile, Gregg Popovich was walking down below the stanchion in perfect range of Diaw's missed shot.
The result was a rude bonk on the back for Popovich. Perhaps now ol' Pop will finally be the one embarrassed on national TV instead of the one embarrassing everyone else?
