Ben Simmons said pre-game that creating shots for his teammates was his focus and he did just that racking up 13 assists In the 155-124 win.

The young Aussie almost netted himself a triple-double in Team World's 155-124 victory over Team USA. Simmons put up 11 points, 13 assists, six rebounds and four steals with several highlight-reel plays throughout the contest. 

Simmons may have not been the MVP, but his defensive performance was a cornerstone of Team World's victory pulling through at both ends of the court. He shot 5-of-5 from the field including 1-of-1 from the free-throw line. 

The Philly guard began the contest with two points, three assists, a steal and a rebound in the first 7 minutes of the clash. 


Big Ben's potential Rookie Of the Year counterpart, Donovan Mitchell struggled on the night finishing with seven points, shooting just 3-of-10 from the field and 1-of-6 from deep.
