The Boomers got their World Cup run off to a strong start, defeating Finland 98-72 in their opener. Patty Mills led the way with 25 points, eight rebounds and four steals, while Josh Giddey flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 14 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in his World Cup debut.
