What is Anthony Edwards' injury?

Late in the first quarter of the game between the Timberwolves and Bulls, Edwards jumped to throw a pass to Mike Conley and rolled his right ankle when he landed.

He could be heard screaming in pain on the broadcast, and he had to be helped off the court.

Minnesota initially announced that Edwards was questionable to return with a right ankle sprain, but he was later downgraded to out.

Edwards finished with eight points in eight minutes.

How long will Anthony Edwards be out?

After suffering the injury against the Bulls, Edwards was placed in a walking boot. On March 19, The Athletic's Shams Charania provided an update on Edwards, reporting that he was out of the walking boot and noting that his status remains day-to-day.

He is listed as questionable on the Timberwolves' official injury report for their March 20 game against the Knicks.

Before going down with the ankle injury, Edwards had been incredibly durable, playing in every game of the season.
