The Penrith Panthers are still looking at re-jigging their roster after missing the finals - and one casualty could be popular winger Josh Mansour.

The fans love Mansour and he has given the Panthers great value down the years.

But he has had some bad injuries in recent seasons and his form this year was well down on recent years.

His 2019 stats say it all - 19 games for just one try.

He’s under contract for next season, but the Panthers will let him go if he can find another club.

GLENN HAS TEAMMATES TO THANK

Broncos veteran Alex Glenn can thank his team-mates’ dreadful form in 2019 for the new deal that is about to come his way.

Early last season, the Broncos saw Glenn as excess baggage and were trying to sell him off to anyone who was interested.

There were no takers - and Glenn stayed put and was expected to be cut loose at the end of this season.

But the fact that the young Broncos forwards look so leaderless throughout 2019 has convinced coach Anthony Seibold that Glenn is needed to add stability in the big games.

As a result, he will be at Red Hill again next season.

SEGEYARO'S CAREER IN TATTERS

James Segayaro’s provisional drugs suspension comes as a massive blow just when the talented hooker was getting his career back on track.

Segayaro couldn’t find a club early last season before being thrown a lifeline by the Broncos.

He grabbed the opportunity with both hands and the Broncos were poised to hand him a new deal.

At least two Sydney clubs were also interested in Segayaro and he was keen to return to the harbour city, where he has a clothing brand.

But his career is now in tatters if his ‘B’ sample comes back positive.
