South Sydney Rabbitohs playmaker Cody Walker's will be a ball boy when the Bunnies take on the Roosters at ANZ Stadium on Thursday night, and his reaction to hearing the news was pure gold.
A win in one of the fiercest rivalries in rugby league will see the Rabbitohs secure fourth spot on the NRL ladder, and Wayne Bennett's side could finish as high as third if the Raiders suffer a shock defeat to the Warriors.
The Roosters have locked up second spot on the ladder, but that won't take anything away from the intensity of the local derby.
When Walker's son, Kian, was told he'd finally get the chance to be ball boy as his old man runs onto the pitch, he couldn't contain his excitement.

The Bunnies posted a video to social media of the moment Kian was told the news.
"Cody's son, Kian, will be joining dad tomorrow night and he's a little bit excited to hear the news," they wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, it was revealed earlier this week that Walker's playmaking opponent this Thursday, Cooper Cronk, missed out on the Roosters' win over the Panthers last weekend after a mishap while reading to his young son.
Cronk was a late scratching for the 22-6 win after his son, Lennox, dropped a book which hit Cronk in the corner of the eye last week.
In his absence, Drew Hutchison was drafted into Trent Robinson's side, but Cronk has been named at halfback for the last match of the regular season.
