Roosters star Latrell Mitchell has revealed the disgusting act of racism he encountered while watching a reserve grade match at Leichhardt Oval a few years ago.
Mitchell has been vocal in calling out racism over the past two weeks, posting a screenshot of an abusive message he received on social media a week ago.
The barnstorming centre has since doubled down on his anti-racism stance, saying he'll continue to call out racism despite the heavy toll it's been putting him under.
Speaking a day after scoring 18 points in the Roosters' huge win over the Warriors, Mitchell was asked more about his stance, and revealed that the abuse he's received over the past few days isn't even close to the worst he's ever experienced.

"Nah, not at all...it's not the last I'll get it and it's not the worst I've had," he said.
When pushed on his experiences, Mitchell revealed another shocking story.
"I'll give you an example. In 2017, just after the Cowboys loss and we were at Leichhardt Oval watching the Wyong Roos," he said.
"I copped it in front of the whole team pretty much.
"A lad just walked up and picked me out of the bunch and it went from there."
Mitchell said his Roosters teammates were left shocked by the encounter and the man was kicked out of the game.
Mitchell has received a huge amount of support from around the NRL, and was even sent a message of support by retired AFL legend Adam Goodes.
The 22-year-old said there's a long way to go before things get better, and said there needs to be harsher consequences and better education around the issue.
"Getting rubbed out of the game and not be able to come in and get a ticket, I don't think it's going to bother him," he said.
"He needs a bit of cultural awareness around these things and he needs to be held accountable.
"If people are going to say something, they need to be accountable for what they're putting out there.
"If you put it on social media, I'm going to share it. I'm not going to scribble your name out.
"I just want people to be aware."
