Rugby league player Thomas Minns has been handed a 16-month ban for taking a prohibited substance, UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) has confirmed.
It was announced last April that Minns, then playing for Hull KR, had tested positive for a non-performance-enhancing drug after a Super League match against Huddersfield Giants the previous month.
UKAD confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that Minns tested positive for benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine.
Minns' period of ineligibility has been backdated to March 16, the date his sample was taken, meaning his ban runs until midnight on July 14.

At the time, Minns admitted to taking a banned substance as he tried to cope with the death of his mother.
"I want to personally apologise to everyone involved who I have let down and disappointed," he said, speaking in April.
"I admit to taking a banned substance on Mother's Day 2018 (March 11), which was a hugely difficult day for me following the passing of my mother last year.
"I was low and depressed on the day and I felt at the time I needed to do it to get through. I now totally accept that it was huge mistake which could cost me my career."
In its full reasoning, UKAD said the 24-year-old had "produced medical evidence from a psychiatrist to the effect that he was suffering from three conditions at the relevant time, including a depressive illness, leading to cognitive impairment".
Explaining UKAD's decision, the body's chief executive Nicole Sapstead said: "All athletes must adhere to the principle of strict liability, regardless of whether or not they are deliberately seeking to gain an unfair sporting advantage.
"It is an athlete's responsibility to know what substances are in their system, and they must be aware that even if a substance is not banned out-of-competition, there is always the possibility of it remaining in their body for a period of time and it being detected in-competition."
Minns, who has also played for Leeds Rhinos and Featherstone Rovers, was released from his Hull KR contract in July and is without a club.
