Dylan Napa is being hailed as a hero after rushing to help a put out a fire at a neighbour's home in Rose Bay.
According to 10 Daily, Napa rushed to help douse the fire when he saw flames after looking out the window of his apartment.
Napa and another neighbour reportedly threw buckets of water on the deliberately lit fire until authorities could arrive.
Fire fighters were already attending a blaze at a nearby address.

Both fires were lit by the same arsonist, who was caught on CCTV footage watching a blaze grow after setting debris alight.
One fire travelled from a tree to the home of a family of five, who were trapped inside.
The family was eventually led to safety by fire fighters, as Napa was lauded as a hero.
The Bulldogs front-rower told 10 Daily that he did what any good neighbour would do in similar circumstances.
On the field, the Napa's Canterbury-Bankstown side have struggled this season, coming 15th with just five wins.
