Canterbury legend Chris Anderson has announced he’ll vacate his seat on the Bulldogs board.
Anderson and his fellow board members are up for re-election in February.
But as first reported by The Daily Telegraph’s Michael Carayannis, the 67-year-old former Bulldogs player and coach has decided to resign, effectively immediately.
Anderson and his wife Lynne, who will stay on as the Bulldogs’ chairperson, returned to the family club following the contentious 2018 board elections.

Anderson’s departure comes after fellow Canterbury legend Steve Mortimer stood down in August.
Premiership-winning prop Steve Price also recently resigned from the Bulldogs board to take on the influential role as the Bulldogs’ general manager of football.
Anderson spent 14 seasons with the Bulldogs as a player and eight campaigns as head coach from 1990.
