Kurt Busch continued to turn fast laps at Fontana, Calif., on Saturday, following up on winning pole position for Sprint Cup's Auto Club 400.
With Sunday's race announced as a sellout, Busch will go for his first win of the season in his second race with a packed house watching.

Think he has speed? There was nobody close to Busch's top lap in Saturday's early practice. And he set the pace in the afternoon "happy hour" practice as well.

Following Busch in the fastest 10 drivers were Jimmie Johnson at 184.247; David Ragan, 184.237; Ryan Newman, 183.969; Brian Scott, 183.960; Martin Truex Jr., 183.814; Brad Keselowski, 183.594; AJ Allmendinger, 183.510; Kevin Harvick, 183.416; and Casey Mears, 183.351.

Busch hit 184.971 mph in the afternoon session. Stewart-Haas Racing teammates Harvick and Danica Patrick, who squeezed 182.007 mph out of her car, was among those turning fast laps.
