UPDATE: Juan Pablo Montoya wins the 99th running of the Indianapolis 500
Scott Dixon goes for his second win; Helio Castroneves tries to match the record held by legendary drivers; and the 99th running of the Indianapolis 500 roars to life on Sunday.
"The greatest spectacle in racing" is both awesome and frightening. This year's practices have seen crashes that were breathtaking, but years of safety improvements have prevented lost of life.

And so it is as we go back home again to Indiana, where the festivities on Memorial Day 2015 lead to the call: "Gentlemen, start your engines." And ladies, too, with Simona de Silvestro and Pippa Mann in the 33-car field.
