Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen did exactly that overnight, launching his RB12 at an Austrian snowfield.
The F1 car had to be air-lifted onto the mountain, before Verstappen was let loose in the ice.
The 18-year-old handled the snow with aplomb, aided of course by the use of studded tyres and chains.
