Following the unveiling of Force India's new car for the 2015 Formula One season, Nico Hulkenberg wants the team to build on the last year's impressive performances.
Force India finished sixth in the constructors' championship in 2014 with 155 points, 26 behind McLaren.
At the presentation of the new car on Wednesday, Hulkenberg, who contributed 96 of those points, outlined hopes that Force India climb the standings this time around.
"For us it is important we establish ourselves in the points consistently race after race," he said.
"Looking where we were last year we want to be at least there ideally if not better.
"We have all the right ingredients now it's down to us to do the right things outside and inside the car."
Team-mate Sergio Perez, meanwhile, has vowed to put everything into helping Force India establish themselves in the constructors' championship.
"You never know in F1 how competitive your car will be," he said.
"All I can guarantee is I will be giving my 1,000 per cent throughout the year and be on the best level of my career."
