One of the most iconic events on the international motorsport calendar – 24 Hours of Le Mans – has arrived for 2024.

The event is not just challenging skill-wise, but also is a test of engineering, physical stamina and mental composure.

Here’s how you can catch all the action in Australia.

This year's edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is being streamed live and ad-free on Stan Sport

The streaming service is showing all sessions, including practice, qualifying and the race, with on-demand replays available.

Fans can also watch the action with a race-specific package from WEC TV.

The €17.99 (AU$30) package provides access to every track session, living timings and replays of past races.

Le Mans is not being shown on television in Australia.

Le Mans 24 Hours: Entry list, drivers, teams for 2024

A total of 186 drivers in 62 cars will contest this year's edition of Le Mans.

On track, there will be 23 cars competing in the Hypercars category, 23 in the LMGT3 category and 16 in the LMP2 category.

Each car has three drivers, with each driver required to race for at least 6 hours, but no more than 14 hours.

Former F1 world champion Seb Vettel – who was rumoured to feature in the 2024 race – will not take part.

Are there any Australian drivers competing in Le Mans 2024?

Three Australians will participate in the 2024 running of Le Mans.

Matt Campbell will race for Porsche Penske in the hypercar category, James Allen will feature for Duqueine Team in the LMP2 category and Yasser Shahin is driving for Manthey EMA in the LMGT3 category.
