The Bathurst 1000 returns for another instalment this year with Australia’s most iconic race taking place between Thursday, October 5 and Sunday, October 8.
Drivers will be pushed to their limits during the four-day event before a winner is crowned at Mount Panorama.

Bathurst 1000 prize money: How much do the winners earn?
Despite the significance of the race, it is difficult to find any public information regarding prize money for the Bathurst 1000.
According to bathurstupdates.com, a total of AU$2.5 million is on offer at this year's event, although that figure is entirely unconfirmed.
The Bathurst race is one of 12 events on the 2023 Supercars calendar, with prize money most likely distributed depending on championship standings, rather than sole race wins.
Brodie Kostecki claimed an undisclosed cash prize after taking out pole position on Saturday.
AU$30,000 will also be awarded to the driver who takes out the most poles by the end of the season.
