Utah will be the place to be when Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree Jr. face off at UFC 307.

The UFC 307 main card starts at noon AEST on Sunday, October 6, the standard start time of UFC PPVs in the U.S. (10 p.m. ET on Saturday). The main event should begin around 2:15 pm AEST, depending on how long the undercard fights last.
The fight is for Pereira's UFC light heavyweight title. Rountree is ranked eighth in the division and is just coming off a suspension after testing positive for banned substances. On a five-fight win streak, Rountree can shock the world.
Meanwhile, Pereira has been the MVP of the UFC for the last two years. A two-division champion, retaining the title along with a third win in 2024 could secure his spot as Fighter of the Year.
The co-main event will see Raquel Pennington defend the UFC bantamweight title against Julianna Pena. Pennington looks to successfully defend the belt for the first time against the former champion in Pena, who bided her time for two years. Pena is ready to win gold again and hold a firm grip on the division.
“Pena two-time (champion) is awesome, and to win a championship for a second time is just an amazing feat,” Pena told MMA Junkie. “To be able to climb that get that belt strapped around my waist again. That’s going to be quite the accomplishment, and I will be proud of both (of my title wins). I think that they will both mean a lot to me, no matter what."
