Israel Adesanya will defend his middleweight championship UFC 293 against Sean Strickland, with the two smash-mouthed stars squaring off in the main event at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia.

The event will mark the first UFC pay-per-view in Sydney in over a decade and will be the first of three events over the next four years held in the Harbour City.

High-profile Aussie stars Tai Tuivasa and Tyson Pedro will both be in action on the main card, while the likes of Rob Whittaker and Alex Volkanovski will be unavailable.

UFC 293 will be available to stream live on Kayo Sportsas well as being broadcast live on Foxtel's Main Event. 

Fans can order now through Kayo for $59.95 and watch the show on their phone, laptop, tablet or smart TV.

The main card for UFC 293 will begin at 12pm AEST from Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. 

The preliminary card will begin at 10am, with the early prelims kicking off at the bright and early time of 8.30am.
