On July 8, UFC 213 takes place from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

For the second year in a row, Amanda Nunes headlines but this time as the champion. She is putting up her women's bantamweight title in a rematch against Valentina Shevechenko. In the co-main event for the interim middleweight title, Robert Whittaker goes up against Yoel Romero.

At UFC 200, Nunes (14-4) defeated Miesha Tate to become the champion. The Brazilian capped off her historic 2016 at UFC 207, knocking out Ronda Rousey. At UFC 196 Nunes beat Shevchenko by unanimous decision. Since the loss, Shevchenko garnered back-to-back wins over Holly Holm and Julianna Pena.

Whittaker and Romero took a winding road to get to UFC 213. Originally, champion Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre were going to compete for the title. But St-Pierre couldn't do the date until later in the year due to an eye injury. Bisping still was battling a knee injury so White pulled it and made the fight between the top two contenders at 185 pounds.

Whittaker (19-4) possesses the second longest winning streak in the division reeling off seven consecutive wins since moving up from the welterweight division in 2014. Romero (12-1), a 2000 Olympic wrestler has the longest win streak with eight consective wins coming over from Strikeforce in 2013.

It isn't a fight card featuring the biggest names but the two main events make it a must-see show. Here is all you need to know about the UFC 213 fight card, schedule and Nunes vs. Shevchenko (all times ET).
