Daniel Cormier's obsession with Jon Jones is unlike anything in MMA.
It began before their fight at UFC 182 in January 2015. The two brawled like children in the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. Jones won the bout by unanimous decision and retained his UFC light heavyweight title. After the fight, Cormier admitted his emotions got the best of him and vowed to not let it happen again.

He quickly broke that vow, and things just got worse. During the week of their scheduled bout at UFC 200, Cormier and Jones had to separated on multiple occasions. The fight didn't happen because Jones failed a drug test.
On Wednesday, Cormier once again lost his cool while going after Jones on Twitter. He even threw in some threats toward the former champion's barber, who goes by @JoeFaceBecker on Twitter.
The incident began when Cormier, the current UFC light heavyweight champion, vented his frustration that Jones hadn't signed the contract for a proposed fight at UFC 214 on July 29.

All appeared to be well and that everyone had moved on. Becker decided he had seen enough, however, and started an exchange with Cormier.

Cormier fired back at Becker and Jones with an expletive.

Becker then shot a short video with Jones at the barber shop, and the two gave Cormier the finger.

Cormier responded by threatening Jones and Becker with violence.

Such uncalled-for tweets by Cormier show he cannot keep it together when it comes to Jones. There was nothing wrong with his first tweet, but going off on someone who personally knows Jones and is looking for some publicity was not the smartest thing to do.
Cormier needs to learn to keep his emotions in check, or else his next MMA fight vs. Jones will be a carbon copy of their first one.
