The UFC returns to pay-per-view on Saturday night as UFC 210 takes place at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY. It is the first UFC event to take place in Buffalo since Sept. 8, 1995 for UFC 7.
The main event features a rematch for the light heavyweight title as Daniel Cormier defends against Anthony Johnson. And in the co-main event, former middleweight champion Chris Weidman goes up against former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi.
Cormier and Johnson fought each other at UFC 187 in May 2015 with Cormier winning by third-round submission. Johnson was originally set to face Jon Jones but the latter was pulled three weeks before the fight after getting arrested for leaving the scene of a hit-and-run accident in April 2015 in New Mexico.
Since the first fight, Cormier (18-1) went on to beat Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 192 and Anderson Silva at UFC 200 on two days when Jones once again got pulled from the fight after failing a drug test. Johnson (22-5) went on a tear on his way back to a title fight, knocking out Jimi Manuwa at UFC 191, Ryan Bader at UFC on Fox and Glover Teixeira at UFC 202.
Weidman is looking to stop a two-fight losing streak. He lost the 185-pound title to Luke Rockhold at UFC 194 in Dec. 2015 and to No. 1 contender Yoel Romero at UFC 205 back in November. Mousasi (41-6-2), who's on his last fight of his UFC contract, heads into the biggest fight of his career after winning four consecutive fights. The winner puts himself into title contention in a deep middleweight division.
