Conor McGregor's UFC return will see him head to Fight Island to face Dustin Poirier.
The UFC confirmed in November the former two-weight champion would be coming out of retirement and re-entering the Octagon against Poirier in January.
A venue was not initially announced amid the coronavirus pandemic, although Fight Island - Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - was mooted as a likely location.
Fight Island was used for the return of the sport in 2020 as COVID-19 impacted its usual arenas.
And UFC president Dana White confirmed McGregor and Poirier would be fighting in the UAE in a post on his Instagram story on Tuesday.
That January 23 bout at UFC 257 will conclude 'Triple Header Week', following on from a January 16 card headlined by Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar and the midweek contest between Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev.
