Chelsea Hackett is on the verge of breaking into the UFC, with the Gold Coast-based 21-year-old set to fight on Dana White's Contender Series on Wednesday afternoon.
At 3-0-1, her MMA record might not be as extensive as some others, it barely tells half the story.
In reality, Hackett has been competing and training since she was eight years old and is a two-time Muay Thai world champion.
In November last year she earned an unprecedented leg sweep knockout which went viral, and she's been on the UFC's radar for at least the past year.

On Wednesday afternoon, with Dana White sitting cageside, Hackett will take the next step on her path to the UFC.
While she might still be a relative newcomer to MMA, her reputation precedes her as - again - a succession of potential opponents pulled out from the fight.
“My first opponent I was matched with had visa issues, so she was out,” Hackett said.
“We were then given a second opponent, we had her for about three days and she pulled out.
“We got a third opponent, had her for a week and she pulled out. Now we’re onto number four. The girl I’m fighting now, I’ve been matched with her for about three weeks.
"It gets frustrating, because it’s a fight for a UFC contract. Any person would drop anything if it was really their dream and their goal.
"Obviously the first one had visa issues, and I get it if you've got injuries or whatever, but I don't get the others who’ve pulled out."
It's been a common theme for Hackett since her transition from Muay Thai to MMA.
She was scheduled to fight Nicole Szepesvary in October 2019 at Eternal 48 in Melbourne just two days before the UFC 243 epic between Robert Whittaker and Israel Adesanya.
The card was set to be shown on Fight Pass and a who's who of the UFC brass was in attendance, but Szepesvary pulled out on late notice.
Having missed out on the opportunity of a lifetime, a fired-up Hackett made Szepesvary pay when she scored the highlight reel leg-sweep knockout a month later.
One year on, she's preparing for an even bigger stage, and has spent time training alongside former UFC veteran Bec Rawlings.
"Having Bec in was epic, she's just a legend of a chick," Hackett said.
"She’s just got so much experience behind her – she’s been in every organisation – she was in TUF, she’s got that experience behind her.
"So to train with someone like her in this camp was just really really cool. She gave me some really good pointers and she’s just so genuine.
"When we sparred, it went from zero to 100 really quick because our fight styles are both so aggressive. The sparring was of a very high level.
"It was just awesome just to have another girl – especially in Australia."
Having trained with Rawlings, Hackett is now determined to add her name to the list of Aussie females in the biggest promotion in the world.
"It’s so epic. I’m just so ready for it, so excited and just pumped to join the UFC roster and get working," she said.
"Because that’s when the real work starts. It doesn’t slow down – this is only the beginning and I’m just pumped to get to work."
