From what started with just a few pioneers in a fledgling sport, Australia and New Zealand can now be considered a hotbed of talent in a sporting juggernaut.

Currently, 22 fighters from the two Pacific neighbours ply their trade in the UFC, including former featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski and former middleweight titleholders, Israel Adesanya and Rob Whittaker.

How to watch the UFC in Australia

Aussie fight fans have a couple of options when it comes to watching the UFC.

Pay-per-view events

UFC pay-per-views are generally split into three parts - early prelims, prelims and main card.

For the early prelims, you'll have to tune into those on the UFC's streaming service, UFC Fight Pass.

The prelims will be available on UFC Fight Pass, as well ESPN on Foxtel, and live streamed on Kayo.

Pay-per-view main cards are available exclusively via Main Event on Foxtel, as well as Kayo PPV.

UFC Fight Nights

All other UFC events are broadcast on UFC Fight Pass, as well via as ESPN on Foxtel, and live streamed on Kayo.
