The White Sox placed outfielder Avisail Garcia on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring, the team announced Tuesday.
Prior to tonight’s series opener vs. the St. Louis Cardinals, the #WhiteSox placed outfielder Avisaíl García on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to July 9) with a strained right hamstring and added outfielder Ryan LaMarre to the 25-man roster.

While the White Sox are fourth in the struggling American League Central, Garcia has made a huge fantasy impact since returning from the DL on June 22.
Garcia, who has played just 35 games this season, had eight home runs in his last 13 games, while raising his average from .231 to .282 during that stretch.
Garcia suffered the injury in Sunday's game and could require an extended absence after missing two months earlier this season with an injury to the same hamstring.
