A video emerged Wednesday showing the moments before Roy Halladay's plane crashed Tuesday in the Gulf of Mexico near Tampa, Fla.
The video, obtained by TMZ Sports, was shot by nearby witnesses who filmed the ICON A5 aircraft in the air before it came crashing down. The witnesses then went over to the crash site to take a look at the damage.

Halladay was an eight-time All-Star during his 16-year career with the Blue Jays and Phillies.
"We are numb over the very tragic news about Roy Halladay's untimely death," the Phillies said in a statement. "There are no words to describe the sadness that the entire Phillies family is feeling over the loss of one of the most respected human beings ever to play the game. It is with the heaviest of hearts that we pass along our condolences to Brandy, Ryan and Braden."
Halladay was 40 years old.
