If you're ever going to suffer through a rain delay at a baseball game, make sure it's a Louisiana-Lafayette game.

When the lightning began to strike on Friday, the Ragin' Cajuns went to battle against the University of Louisiana Monroe — a rock-paper-scissors battle.

Now, you may be laughing right now, but I assure you, this is serious stuff. The #FunBelt title was on the line and the Cajuns weren't about to roll over to the Warhawks.

There should be an ESPN2 special on epic rock-paper-scissors battles and the Ragin' Cajuns should be the stars.

After taking home the championship in a fictional sport, they celebrated like true winners and hit a mean Dougie.

Even a manager got in on the action with a smooth shimmy.

It might just be me, but I'd like to see the Cajuns have more delays. Which leads me to the next bit of exciting news, Louisiana-Lafayette is in a rain delay again on Saturday! Let's cross our fingers for more fun.
