The Mets could be looking to continue adding to their roster.

New York has already traded for a pair of All-Stars in a deal with the Mariners and signed catcher Wilson Ramos this offseason. But the team may not be done making moves.

The Mets have discussed signing free agent infielder Mike Moustakas, according to a report from the New York Post, which cites an unidentified league source. The team, however, may decide not to pursue the 30-year-old third baseman after it inked Ramos to a two-year, $19 million deal this week.

New York would most likely move veteran third baseman Todd Frazier to first base if it did sign Moustakas, according to the report.

Moustakas began last season with the Royals but was sent to the Brewers at the trade deadline in exchange for two minor leaguers.

The two-time All-Star slashed .251/.315/.459 in 152 total games in 2018. He also hit 28 home runs and tallied 95 RBIs.

The Mets officially acquired infielder Robinson Cano and hard-throwing closer Edwin Diaz from the Mariners earlier this month in exchange for five players, including outfielder Jay Bruce and top prospects Jarred Kelenic and Justin Dunn.
