Michael Brantley is heading to Houston.
The Astros and the 31-year-old have agreed to a two-year, $32 million deal, according to a report from Yahoo Sports, which cites unidentified league sources.
Brantley is expected to spend time at designated hitter as well as play left field and first base for Houston, the report says.
Brantley's versatility and bat-to-ball ability greatly appealed to the Astros, who have a team full of those types. The plan is for him to rotate among left field, first base and DH. Top of the lineup is Springer, Brantley, Altuve, Bregman in almost any order, with Correa, too.

Brantley slashed .309/.364/.468 in 143 games for the Indians last season. He also hit 17 home runs and tallied 76 RBIs.
Brantley had spent all 10 of his MLB seasons with Cleveland. He has made three All-Star teams and won a Silver Slugger in 2014.
The Astros finished 2018 with 103-59 record and made the playoffs for a second straight season. They advanced to the ALCS, where they fell to the Red Sox in five games.
