Jed Lowrie's deal with the New York Mets will be for at least $20 million, league sources tell ESPN. Lowrie is reunited with Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen, who served as his agent for years, and brings even more depth to New York's infield.

Lowrie registered a .267/.353/.448 slash line and made his first All-Star team with the Athletics last season. He also hit 23 home runs and tallied 99 RBIs.
Lowrie can play multiple infield positions, including shortstop and second base. He has also spent time with the Red Sox and Astros during his 11-year career.
The Mets have had a busy few months. They acquired infielder Robinson Cano as well as hard-throwing closer Edwin Diaz in a trade with the Mariners in early December and completed three minor deals last week.
New York also inked free agent catcher Wilson Ramos and reliever Jeurys Familia to contracts this offseason.
The Mets finished 2018 with a 77-85 record and missed the playoffs for a second straight season.
