The 2023 MLB All-Star Game starters are set.

After two rounds of voting, we now know the eight players who will join Shohei Ohtani and Ronald Acuña Jr. in the respective starting lineups for the American and National leagues.

In the American League, the Rangers were dominant in the voting phases, with four players getting starting slots this year. Jonah Heim, Marcus Semien, Corey Seager, and rookie Josh Jung will all start for the AL, while Yandy Diaz will round out the infield at first. In the outfield, Mike Trout will be flanked by Randy Arozarena. Although Aaron Judge also won a starting spot, he will inevitably be out, meaning one spot is still open.

The National League heavily features the Braves and The Dodgers. For Atlanta, Sean Murphy will be catching with Orlando Arcia at second and Ronald Acuña Jr. in the outfield. Los Angeles is sending Freddie Freeman at first, Mookie Betts in the outfield, and J.D. Martinez as a DH. Luis Arraez will be holding down second with Nolan Arenado at third and Diamondbacks rookie Corbin Carroll rounding out the outfield.

Who were the All-Star Game starter finalists?

Fan voting for the All-Star Game was conducted in two phases. The top overall vote-getter in each league in Phase 1 automatically advanced to the starting lineup. Angels DH Shohei Ohtani and Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. were the leading vote-getters in Phase 1.

For all other positions, the top two vote-getters in Phase 1 advanced to a final round of voting in Phase 2. The results of the Phase 2 voting will be announced Thursday. The winners will be the All-Star Game starters.

The pitchers and reserves will be announced Sunday, July 2, during the All-Star Selection Show.

Here are the finalists at each position as voted by the fans. Players are listed by vote share as of the last poll update, per MLB. The top vote-getters in each league in Phase 1 are in bold.
