Bryce Harper injury update: X-rays come back negative after taking pitch off hand image

Bryce Harper has left Friday's game with a right-hand contusion, the team announced.

His X-rays came back negative.

The Phillies outfielder was hit on the hand by a pitch from Mets lefty Steven Matz and had to be removed.

The pitch hit Harper on his right hand which is his throwing hand as he bats left and throws right.

Harper is batting .255 with 30 home runs and 100 RBIs on the season.

He signed a 13-year, $325 million deal with the Phillies before the year.
