Fitness and Wellness Expo returns to Hong Kong for a second edition and brings the city’s second run of Hyrox Fitness Race.
From 13 to 14 May, the city’s leading personalities, brands, experiences and services from the city’s wellness and fitness industry will gather at AsiaWorld-Expo for an adrenaline-packed weekend.
The indoor event is the largest of its kind in the city bringing over 100 brands to fitness fanatics. Like the previous edition, the event strongly focuses on fitness events led by popular instructors. There will be various stages dedicated to different sports and training.
Alongside the Main Stage, which will host a number of classes throughout the two days, including yoga and HIIT events, this year welcomes two new stages to the Gym Village: Spin Stage and Dance Stage.
As fitness gains increasing popularity in the city, the event has become an opportunity for individuals of all ages to experience different ways to stay healthy and active.
The Spin Stage will be home to a series of riding workouts throughout the weekend. Attendees can expect to move, sweat and spin to upbeat music in classes led by experienced instructors.
From Zumba and Latin to Bollywood and Cardio, the Dance Stage will bring dance cultures from around the world to Hong Kong. The Street Dance Society has been enlisted to lead break-dancing and whacking workshops, bringing an exciting new dimension to this year’s event.
And following in the footsteps of last year’s success, Hyrox is returning to the city once again as the first Aisa city to host the race. Alongside the Single and Pro categories, the organiser brings the Relay event to the region for the first time.
The fitness race involves a 1km run and a functional fitness workout routine, all repeated eight times for 8km, plus eight different functional workouts at eight stations. The race is set to attract participants ranging from age 16 to 70-plus.
