The Roosters' 2018 campaign will be boosted by the additions of premiership winner, Cooper Cronk as well as New South Wales Origin representative, James Tedesco.
Robinson told Big Sports Breakfast he isn't worried over speculation his team is under pressure this season, and will instead focus on building a strong pre-season.
"I couldn't care less," Robinson said.
"The first thing is to get your recruitment right and we feel like we've done that, we've built a strong squad.
"We're bunkering down to develop that squad, get the combinations right and get them fit and strong for the start of the season."
The Roosters coach has also welcomed the addition of two-time Dally M medallist Cronk, whose professionalism will boost the Bondi outfit's premiership chances.
"We're excited by the couple of recruits we've got," Robinson said.
"He's (Cronk) got his methods of how he goes about his day and they're very professional.
"That was one of the reasons we decided to get Cooper and for him to pass that onto the other players is really important."
Robinson admitted he was disappointed to see incumbent halfback Mitchell Pearce depart the the club.
Pearce, along with Connor Watson, Aidan Guerra, Michael Gordon and Kane Evans have all found new homes for 2018.
"We wanted Mitchell to stay and Mitchell knew that, but he made the decision that was right for him and we respected that," Robinson said.
He also addressed claims regarding the Roosters' goal kicking situation, following the departure of regular kicker Gordon.
Robinson confirmed Latrell Mitchell and Sio Siua Taukeiaho will battle it out over the pre-season for the responsibility.
The side will head to New Zealand for a pre-season camp in February ahead of the trials and the 2018 NRL season.
