With early reports suggesting the 23-year-old will be out for at least eight weeks, Sironen could struggle to feature again for the Sea Eagles this season even if they make the finals.
Sironen sustained the injury making a tackle during Manly's 35-18 win over Cronulla on the weekend and had been a solid performer for his side so far this season.
