A shock selection in the Queensland side for Game III, Ben Hunt was as surprised as anyone when coach Kevin Walters gave him a call on Sunday night.

Having only recently been dropped to reserve grade by Broncos coach Wayne Bennett, Hunt has been far from his best in 2017.
Hence his surprise when Walters' name appeared on his phone on Sunday evening, just as the 27-year-old was getting comfortable.
"I was sitting at home watching Masterchef on Sunday night and Kevvie started calling," Hunt said.
"I wasn’t really expecting it to be honest... one of the best Sundays I’ve had for a while.
"Been a pretty crazy month, up and down, a few highs and lows of footy I guess.
"It’s been enjoyable one as well even going back to Ipswich… it was a week I really enjoyed.
"One of the big things when I did go back to Q Cup was that I talked to Kevvie and he said he still had a lot of belief in me, the way I play my footy, and that’d he’d eventually have me in his team one day."
Not long after Walters' call, Hunt was given a rather sobering congratulations from Bennett.
"He gave me a call yesterday to congratulate me and said he should have dropped me back to Queensland Cup a bit earlier," Hunt joked.
