After a breakout first season with the Dragons which saw the utility end 2016 as the club's top try-scorer, Mann has continued to impress having recently played his 50th NRL game.

The 24-year-old started his career with Melbourne Storm before a successful move to the Red V last year, which saw him score 10 tries.

Having featured 13 times for the red and white this season and crossing for another three tries, the Dragons were keen to secure his services moving forward.

"What we've really noticed about Kurt is his ability to play numerous positions and he'll have an opportunity to challenge for the fullback role next year as we aren't going externally to replace that position," Dragons director of rugby league pathways Ian Millward said.

"We believe with his age that his next two years will be some of his stronger years, not only developing his skill set but physically too.

"He's an important signing for our squad moving forward."

Mann follows in the footsteps of skipper Gareth Widdop, Tyson Frizell, Euan Aitken, Jack de Belin, Paul Vaughan and Tim Lafai by extending his stay with the club this season.
