Champion Australian racehorse Winx has kept her remarkable winning streak alive in dramatic circumstances as she came from behind to claim the Warwick Stakes at Randwick Racecourse.

Despite a shocking start which saw her fall four lengths behind, Winx stormed home to claim an 18th consecutive race win.

Given ridiculously low odds of $1.10 prior to the race, she gave thousands of punters a minor heart attack with her start but got hearts well and truly pumping again with a fine finish.
The world's top-ranked mare and top-ranked turf horse was inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame this year with yet another win further cementing her spot in racing history.
Racing fans and those with undoubtedly a bet or two on the champion mare were quick to voice their appreciation of Winx after the race.
