Multi-talented jockey Robbie Dolan will perform iconic Aussie anthem 'The Horses' on Cox Plate day this year.
The 26-year-old, who has won two Group 1 races, shocked the nation earlier this year after becoming a contestant on The Voice.
Dolan has a fantastic signing voice and has now been given the huge task of replacing Daryl Braithwaite at Moonee Valley this October to perform the classic hit on October 22.
"Been sitting on this for a while...can't wait to bring my band to Mooney Valley to perform in front of a packed Cox Plate crowd," he said via Twitter.
"Big shoes to fill but can't wait to show people what we have in store."

Dolan has 232 career wins to his name since moving to Australia from Ireland, with his first G1 success coming in October last year with Profondo in the Spring Champion Stakes.
He also claimed a G1 triumph earlier this year, steering cult hero Shelby Sixtysix to victory in the Furphy Galaxy.
“When I got the call up to perform, it was a no-brainer,” he told The Herald Sun.
“Obviously it’s hard to get off a ride, there’s never a good time in racing, but I couldn’t miss out on an opportunity like this.”
“It’s not only Daryl’s anthem, but the anthem for the whole sport of racing.”
Dolan predominantly rides in NSW and ACT, and is unlikely to feature in the saddle on Cox Plate day.
