The 2023 edition of the Group 1 Memsie Stakes will be held on Saturday 2nd September at Caulfield. 

The 1400m weight-for-age race will headline a blockbuster weekend at the track and officially kick off the Spring Carnival. 

Last year saw Snapdancer take out the race, while other recent winners include Behemoth and Humidor.

When is the 2023 Memsie takes?

The 2023 Memsie Stakes will take place on Saturday, 2nd September at Caulfield Racecourse. 

Set to jump around 4.50pm, it will be the ninth race of a 10-race card. 

Memsie Stakes 2023 prize money

The total prize money for this year's Group 1 Memsie Stakes is $750,000, with the winning connections taking home $450,000.
