This year's Melbourne Cup promises to be another massive event for racing fans, with the $8 million feature at Flemington set to be run on Tuesday, November 7th. 

Gold Trip will be back to defend its crown after an impressive victory in 2022, but will be facing tough competition from both Australian and overseas gallopers for the 3200m journey.

The feature race will headline a bumper 10-race card and is slated to jump at 3pm AEDT.

What channel is the Melbourne Cup on?

This year's Melbourne Cup will be broadcast live on free-to-air via Channel 10.

As always, Sky Racing will also show the big race live, as well as every other track around the country on Cup day. 

How to live stream Melbourne Cup

If you can't get to a TV on raceday, this year's Melbourne Cup will be available to stream live on 10Play, while subscribers of Foxtel Go will also be able to watch it live via their mobile devices. 

What time is the Melbourne Cup?

This year's Melbourne Cup will commence at 3pm AEDT. 

The first race of the day is expected to jump at 10.45am, with the final race on the card scheduled for 5.15pm.
