Group 1-winning jockey Adam Hyeronimus has been suspended from riding for three years over betting offences.
Racing NSW stewards announced on Tuesday morning that the 30-year old has been found guilty of placing 30 bets on thoroughbred races over a period of almost four years.
The bets included horses that he rode, and the ban will be in effect worldwide and not just in Australia.

Hyeronimus is believed to have had his cousin place the bets for him over a period of time, with The Daily Telegraph showing the text messages between the pair.
The suspenion is effective immediately, meaning he will be unable to ride on Wednesday at Canterbury.
Hyeronimus rode Shout The Bar to the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes earlier this year.
The betting activities caught the attention of stewards in April 2019 and an investigation began shortly after.

Hyeronimus would reportedly transfer money to Paine, and label it as 'savings' or 'gift', with the latter then betting through a Sportsbet account.
A string of test messages was a major part in proving the Racing NSW stewards case.
Paine is a licensed stablehand and will also receive a lengthy suspension.
