Without A Fight has taken out this year's Caulfield Cup, outpacing the likes of West Wind Blows and Gold Trip to claim the coveted $5 million event on Saturday afternoon.
The six-year-old galloper from the Anthony & Sam Freedman stable came out on top in the 2400mm race in front of a strong crowd in Melbourne, with jockey Mark Zahra in the saddle.
Favourite West Wind Blows hesitated out of the gates but made a quick recovery, with Without A Fight just edging out the four-year-old Gelding at the finish.
It's Zahra's second Caulfield Cup win, having won the honour in 2020 on Verry Elleegant.
Without A Fight entered the race at $8.50, per Dabble.
