Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele won the first two majors of the 2024 PGA Tour season and the two will be in the spotlight as the golf world gathers at Pinehurst Resort's No. 2 course for the U.S. Open.
Pinehurst is expected to provide players with a tough test as it hosts the U.S. Open for the first time since 2014.
Scheffler, Schauffele and Rory McIlroy are expected to be among the top contenders on the long course, with its sandy and shrubby rough.
LIV Golf stars, including Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau, will look to get their circuit into the winner's circle at one of this year's majors.
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will also compete, as will six Australians - Cam Smith, Min Woo Lee, Jason Day, Adam Scott, Cameron Davis and Jason Scrivener.
Here's what time the action is due to go down in Australia:
